Our Staff
Dr.Amy St.Germain
Dr. St. Germain received her doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1996. She is also a graduate of Springfield Technical Community College obtaining her Associate in Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She received many awards for community service and contributing to the allied health profession. She was honored at the 2004 STCC commencement with the Distinguished Alumni Award, and in April 2005 with the STCC Lifetime Learner Recognition.
Dr. St. Germain is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Laser Dentistry, Massachusetts Dental Society and Valley District Dental Society. She holds certification in Laser Proficiency from the World Clinical Laser Institute, the Academy of Laser Dentistry and is certified for use in Invisalign. Dr. St.Germain was the first dentist in Western Massachusetts to own a Waterlase Laser.
She has three great children and five adorable grandchildren. She enjoys horses, traveling and sailing .
Dr. Candace Katz
Dr. Candace Katz received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UMASS, Amherst, and was elected to the Golden Key National Honors Society. She then graduated from UCONN School of Dental Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut. At UCONN, she received a Community Service award for working with underprivileged people and attending to their dental needs. Dr. Katz was also an active volunteer at Special Olympics. She received additional training in an Advanced Education General Dentistry Residency also at UCONN., working in the John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, Connecticut. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and Valley District Dental Society.
Our Dental Hygienists
Terry and Amelia are experienced licensed & registered Dental Hygienists with certification to administer local anesthesia "Novacaine." They both have over 32 years of experience in the Dental field.
They pride themselves in providing exceptional patient care focusing on oral hygiene treatment as well as preventative management.
Enthusiastic about Dental Health; they enjoy educating patients on dental care and hygiene while providing personal attention to each patient.
Our Administration
Linda,CDA & JoAnne, Practice Administrator
Together they assist with the day to day operations of the office. They are committed to providing a pleasant experience while offering peace of mind while making important decisions regarding Dental Health.
Cohesively they maintain and build personal relationships with patients. This includes, answering any billing questions, submission of insurance claims, as well as preparing pre-treatment estimates to insurance companies. They are committed to providing patients with resources, guidance and information about finance options.
Our Assistants
Our team of assistants are Certified and licensed and have all graduated from Porter & Chester Institute and have been with Dr Amy for many years.
While assisting Dr Amy and Dr Katz chair side, they utilize their knowledge and skills to alleviate patient fears and anxieties. They pride themselves on giving patients personal interaction and satisfaction with valuable dental services to make your dental visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
In-House Lab Tech
Russell is our dental laboratory technician. He was trained by lab professionals from the University of CT School of Dental Medicine and received further education through Ceramco Education Center in New Jersey.
Russell has experience in machining, casting and is an amazing artist, making him a meticulous craftsman for crowns and bridges. Housing our own in house lab, offers convenience for you, adjustments can be made same day.
Community Support
Supporter & Volunteer for Beards & Beers 5k benefit for Prostate Cancer Patients through St Francis. Food Bank donations & collections. & Tornado Victim Fundraiser. This year we will be participating in the Rays of Hope-A Walk Towards the Cure of Breast Cancer and Run Toward the Cure 8K.
There will be more than 17,600 participants that day who will be walking and running to raise awareness, support and hope for breast cancer research and care.
